September 25, 2006 - Program on the Use of IT and Automation Techniques in Logistics Services
DTTNCo will participate in a series of workshops and demo sessions organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and supported by the Logistics Development Council (LOGSCOUNCIL). The program aims to increase the awareness among Logistics SMEs on the importance and urgency of IT-enabled processes; to enhance their understanding of the latest technology trend and applicable technologies for productivity improvement; and to improve the IT skills of the operational staff.

DTTNCo, HKPC Joint Seminar on July 27, 2006
The event was organized by DTTNCo, co-organized by Hong Kong Productivity Council, and supported by SMEs associations.
During the seminar, our guest of honor Ms. Miriam Lau, GBS, JP, Legislative Councillor (Functional Constituency - Transport), Mr. Anthony Wong, President of Hong Kong Logistics Association shared their views on how DTTN could help to reduce cost, enhance efficiency, and Mr. Nicholas H. Chan, Partner of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey gave his professional advice on legal responsibilities of e-Commerce in Hong Kong.

HKPC Professional Diploma Training Courses
DTTNCo was invited as the guest speaker for two of the Diploma Courses organized by HKPC. They are "Professional Diploma in Strategic Purchasing & Supply Chain Management" and "Professional Diploma Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management" on July 31 and August 11, 2006 respectively.
With the aims to equip the industry practitioners with the knowledge to appreciate the benefits of e-logistics, DTTNCo is partnering with different training institutions for incorporating the DTTN concepts as components of training courses on logistics and supply chain management. More details will be shared in the coming DTTN eNewsletters. |
