The project to "Promote the Use of E-business in the SME Community" (Project) is developed and managed by the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association (SME Association), the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation Limited (HKITF), and DTTNCo.

Under the Project, there will be a variety of free front-end software available for the SMEs to prepare and exchange documents with their trading partners via the DTTN. Good news! Through the DTTN, you can now enjoy a time saving, secure and reliable way to apply for Cargo Insurance provided by the CMA Insurance Agent Limited. At the same time, you can apply for Certificates of Origin - Re-export or Without Transit / With Transhipment from the Indian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong ("ICCHK") or from the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce ("HKGCC") via the DTTN.

DTTN-Connected/Enabled Logo for Customers/Partners

DTTN-Connected Logo
Any of the DTTN clients, regardless of the connection methods, can apply for the DTTN-Connected Logo to be used in their name cards, websites and marketing materials, indicating that they have successfully connected to the DTTN and can exchange documents with their trading partners via the DTTN.
DTTN-Enabled Logo
All partners whose solutions or applications have successfully passed the "Compliance Testing Program" and being awarded with the Compliance Certificate can apply for the DTTN-Enabled Logo to be used in their name cards, websites and marketing materials, to indicate that users of their solutions or applications can exchange documents with their trading partners via the DTTN.

To ensure your documents are successfully sent to your business partners, there are three kinds of notification messages. These messages are free-of-charge and will be delivered to both the senders and recipients automatically according to the following conditions:

Received Notifications:	Send to both sender and recipient once DTTN has received the message.
Delivery Notifications:	Send to both sender and recipient once DTTN has processed the message and delivered to the recipient successfully.
Error Notifications:	Send to both sender and recipient once DTTN encountered one or more errors during transformation.

If you do not want to receive any notification message, simply contact your Account Manager.

As all documents being exchanged will be saved in the DTTN portal automatically, will DTTN charge for a document fee if a recipient downloads a previously exchanged document from the DTTN portal?

The document transaction fee will only be charged based on each successful exchange of document. Therefore, when the recipient downloads the previously exchanged document from the DTTN portal, DTTNCo will not charge for the document fee.
